    September Weekend 2019

    I’m in Dugald.
  2. This Sunday we will leave the Abbey at 9am as usual, heading out towards Elderslie,Johnstone,Howood where we will pick up Bridesmill Rd to Lochwinnoch and take the cycle track all the way to Kilbirnie. We will leave Kilbirnie and head to Beith onto Gateside and over towards the Canny man where we will head onto the B776 and head to Howood via Bowfield and head back to the Abbey via Johnstone and Elderslie. Approximately 32 miles and 1597 ft. of climbing. Bring a helmet, spare tubes, tools, nutrition and a drink Plenty fluids. Money for coffee/tea, and a mobile phone......and your bike!! As it is into winter riding bikes should have lights and mudguards fitted. A few new roads on there for a lot of us, so please LOOK AT THE ROUTE AND FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH IT! You might be on the front when it's time to turn, make sure you know when and where! We are only as fast as the slowest rider, regrouping top of hills, we start together, we finish together. All winter rides are subject to change on the day due to weather. Leaving from Paisley Town Hall at 9am, so get there just before 8.50am! Mark https://www.strava.com/routes/16750977
